• Sofit uses Tetra Pak's aseptic packaging system that fills the sterile product in an aseptic manner,
and hermetically seals the package to ensure that sterility is maintained during the
handling and distribution process.
• Flash heating and cooling is used to make sure that the soya beverage possesses a more
natural
colour, taste and texture. This process also limits energy use and nutrient loss.
• The carton material is made up of a barrier layer and layers of paperboard coated with polyethylene
rendering it completely impermeable to liquids. The aluminum foil is used as barrier layer, which acts
as a barrier to oxygen, flavour and light thus, preventing any bacterial acivity.
